AND MORE...

Day 1 - Private Arrival Transfer and Private Walking Tour

From the Rome FCO airport, Rome Termini train station, Florence, or the Amalfi Coast, a private door-to-door arrival transfer service will take you to your hotel in the heart of Rome.

In the afternoon, take a 3-hour walking tour with your own private guide of Rome's top historic attractions, including:

- The Spanish Steps one of the famous images of Rome in the world.
- The Trevi Fountain, a historic aqueduct that provided water to ancient Rome for more than 400 years and the setting for a Fellini film starring Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg.
- The fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini is one of the most famous in Rome's Piazza Navona, which is home to many other works of art from the Baroque period.
- The Pantheon, which contains the tombs of numerous Italian kings and notable artists from Italy.

Day 2 - Ancient Rome, Colosseum and Vatican Museums

With your private guide and skip-the-line tickets, visit the most significant monuments of ancient Rome.

The Roman Forum, the city's major marketplace and the hub of political and social activity around which the ancient Roman civilization grew, was located in a valley between the Palatine and Capitoline hills. This is the "Golden Milepost" from which the lengths of all the roads going to Rome were gauged.

The Palatine Hill, one of Rome's seven hills, is thought to be the oldest section of the town and the location where the she-wolf allegedly discovered Romulus and Remus.

One of the finest examples of Roman architecture is the Colosseum, also known as the Coliseum. It is the largest Amphitheatre ever constructedunder the Roman Empire. Gladiatorial contests and other public shows were held at the Colosseum, which could accommodate more than 50,000 spectators.

The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch built to mark Constantine's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in 312 and is located between the Colosseum and Palatine hill.

You will visit the Vatican Museums, one of the biggest museums in the world, to see it firsthand. Since it is difficult to see everything, your own guide will take you to the Museums' most significant exhibits.

One of the world's greatest museum complexes, the Vatican Museums began as a collection of sculptures amassed by Pope Julius II.
The Vatican Museums' approximately 1300 rooms are home to thousands of well-known pieces of art, including paintings and sculptures.
Just to name a few, there are pieces of art by Michelangelo, Bernini, Raphael, Caravaggio, and Giotto.
Admire the Sistine Chapel's frescoes, which were created by some of the greatest Renaissance artists, including Michelangelo, who painted the chapel's ceiling, Botticelli, and Raphael.
The conclave, or election of the pope, is currently held in the Sistine Chapel. The chapel was given this name after Pope Sixtus IV restored it, evoking the Old Testament's Temple of Solomon with its construction.
