Private day trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius with your private driver that will pick you up at your hotel in Rome. You will visit Pompeii, one of the most famous ancient roman towns and admire the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples from the summit of Mount Vesuvius.
Upon your arrival in Pompeii, meet your private guide for a 2-hour walking tour of the archaeological site by strolling through the ancient streets and the most relevant attractions such as the Forum which was the center of religious and economic life; the Casa del Fauno, one of the largest and most impressive private residences in Pompeii; the Termopolium a sort of ancient inns where foreigners who arrived in Pompeii could eat and buy wine.
Reach the entrance of the Vesuvius Park with your private driver, and from there with a volcanological guide (included in the entrance ticket) you can climb the mountain (about 30 minutes) and walk around the crater to enjoy the panoramic view of the whole the Gulf of Naples.
